Brian Cashman will be back next season calling the shots for the New York Yankees.
The former Yankees intern signed a new three-year deal that will pay him $9 million annually. This comes a day after ace pitcher CC Sabathia was signed to a new contract.
Since taking over for Bob Watson back in 1998 the Yankees have won 4 World Series rings, 6 AL pennants, 11 AL East Division titles and have made the playoffs 13 out of his 14 seasons.
Cashman has said the priorities for the Yankees this off-season is "pitching, pitching, and more pitching."
From The Sports Mind Of RB:
As I said yesterday in a post about Sabathia, Cashman was not going anywhere.
