Andy Dalton, Quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals
With All-Pro quarterback Carson Palmer refusing to play this season for the bengals they looked to rookie Andy Dalton to fill the void. Dalton did a fine job throwing for the second best completion precentage among rookies (58.1), second most pass yards (3,398) and the second most touchdown passes (20.) With his steady hand at quarterback the bengals made the playoffs in a year that was supposed to be a rebuilding one.
A.J. Green, Wide Receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals
After the departures of Chad Ochocinco and Terrell Owens this team was looking for a difference maker on offesne and they found one in A.J. Green. he led all rookies this season in rececptions (65), the only one with over 1,000 yards receiving (1,057) and second in touchdowns (7). With dalton as his signal caller this could be a tandem that will scare defense coordinators for years to come.
Cam Newton, Quarterback for the Carolina Panthers
Newton had to prove to critics that his one phenomenal year at Auburn, in which he won a national title could transition to the NFL. Patrick Peterson, Cornerback for the Arizona Cardinals
Peterson was solid on the defensive side of the ball with 64 tackles, 2 interceptions and 13 passes deflected away. He brought the most electricity when he was back returning kicks and punts as he had four touchdowns and two of those were game winners.
