Burress spent over a year and a half in prison after shooting himself in the leg in a New York nightclub.
Burress also entertained offers from the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New York Giants and was a big part of the Giants winning Super Bowl 42 over the New England Patriots.
Now with this signing it probabaly means the departure of wideout Braylon Edwards.
