Components in the CPA business:
- The CPA Network
Network is an organization that bridges between Advertisers and Publishers (us). Advertiser is a party that requires action. He who will pay us through the Network (after the commission deducted by the Network of course).
This is how CPA works:
Advertiser: Uh, I need additional members for my online game site.
Network: ready boss, dare byr how much per new member?
Advertiser: how much is it.. I will give you 1.8$/member
Network: ok boss
Advertiser: But, I want members who are from the US only and are 18 years old and above
Network: as you wish boss.. deal?
Advertiser: deal..
Network: woro woro publisher, here is a new offer that is hot, blah blah.. the pay is 1.4$/member (the commission is deducted). Publishers: ready skipper, slide to the scene
- CPA Offer
or slang: bidding. This is what the Network was offering to publishers. In the example chat above, the offer is "list of online game sites". In an offer there are requirements that we must consider before promoting. The requirements also vary: target country, minimum age, type of traffic that can enter, etc. Be careful, don't comply with this requirement.. the risk of not being paid or banned!
There are generally 2 types of CPA Offers:
Non-Incentivized and Incentivized.
The most dominant is Non-Incentivized, meaning that visitors don't get a kind of 'reward' after the action. On the other hand, an Incentivized offer is that a visitor gets a reward after the action. The reward is up to us, usually -> download crack games, game cheat ebooks, watch movies online, etc.
And so that it's not a hoax, here's an example of a game offer that pays 1.4$/member (non-incentivized) --> hxxp://_www.peerflyoffers.com/offer.php?id=5309
- Advertiser --> this is the previous one, a company that is willing to pay for every action achieved (new members, emails, etc.)
- Publisher/Affiliate --> Here we say! premium jobless, professional unemployment or something
- Affiliate Manager (AM) --> this is a Network employee whose job it is to help us (publishers) to make money. It's natural, we made a big profit, he also profited hehe (remember the commission factor earlier).
So, he will share tips/tricks to make us more joss! So, it's important to have a good relationship with AM... you can talk to each other, you know, each of you is AM
In addition to tips/tricks, you can also:
* inquire about the requirements of the offer
* payout bump : now this is important.. if your traffic is HUGE, you can ask AM for a 'salary increase'. For example, in the example offer above, you can negotiate... the payout goes up to $1.7/member.. Sip, right?
- Traffic
Traffic yes traffic For CPA business, not all traffic is allowed. It depends on the requirements of each advertiser. But in general, all traffic is OK as long as it's not SPAMMING. Do you know spamming? for example: broadcast on facebook, craiglist, email spamming. You know that Caucasian countries are noisy when it comes to SPAM, so CPA Network also takes care of its business.
In general, there are two types of traffic: FREE traffic and BUY traffic (Paid Traffic). Each has advantages + disadvantages.
FREE traffic: the good thing is that it's free.. it just usually takes a struggle. For example traffic in this category: SEO (oh yesss !!), Youtube traffic, Forum posting etc. The downside is that we can't filter incoming traffic. For example, the offer example above requires a minimum age of 18 years.
BUY traffic (paid traffic): must have capital to buy traffic say! But the good thing is, we can bring in traffic quickly and targeted (eg can choose a country and a minimum age target).
There are a lot of traffic sellers, here are some of the famous ones: Adword (have you heard of it? hehe) , Facebook Ads, AdCenter, PlentyOfFish, MochiMedia, Traffic Vance, SiteScout, AdBucks, Exoclick ... well now, the more you go back, the less you've heard of it huh ? wkwkwk.. that's, there are still many mysteries of traffic sources that must be studied.
Types of paid traffic include: PPC (Adword, FB ads), CPM (FB ads, mochi, Media Buying), PPV (pay per view eg Traffic Vance)
Paid Traffic is a very long topic, difficult to reveal in this post. Tar is getting confused.. In short, paid traffic is the main weapon if you want to be serious in CPA. 1000$/day I'm not surprised if you use this type of traffic.
