Keegan Bradley was five shots back with three holes to play and it seemed like the tournamamet was over. Then the unthinkable happened as Bradley made an improbable comeback and Jason Dufner faltered down the strectch to give it away.

Heading into the weekend this PGA Championship was nickmaned the 'No Name Championship' because most of the high profile players such as Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy and Phil Mickelson were never really in contention. That did not stop the unbelievable finish to this final round as both men were heading to a playoff.

Bradley,25, became the third player in 100 years to win a major championship in his first try. At the same time ending a streak of majors not won by an American since Mickelson at last year's Masters.

Dufner who entered play on Sunday having not bogeyed all weekend did so on three of the final holes in regualtion.

Bradley says of the win "It seems like a dream and I'm afraid I'm going to wake up here in the next five minutes and its not going to be real."

From the Sports Mind of RB:

Congratulations to Keegan Bradley on his PGA Championship win! Not only is this his first major but he is a St. John's University alum and that means more than anything else. We Are St. Johns!
