NFL Wildcard Weekend

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Houston Texans

In the game which probaly will get the least amount of media coverage the Bengals look to go into Houston and steal one from the Texans. The Texans are without starting quarterback Matt Schaub, defensive lineman Mario Williams and will get wideout Andre Johnson back who has been battling hamstring issues all season. They do have talented back Arian Foster but that was not enough to beat the Indianapolios Colts a couple of weeks back. The Bengals go into this one the healthier team and a decent pass and catch combination of Andy Dalton to AJ Green. Pick: Bengals

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. Denver Bronocs

The Steelers will head into this game without running back Rashard Mendenhall who tore his ACL and without safety Ryan Clark because of a sickle-cell trait which won't  allow him to play in the Denver climate. Signal caller Ben Roethlisberger hobbles into this one after sustaining a sprained ankle against the Cleveland Browns a couple of games ago. The Broncos are not the same team they were earlier last month and defenses have been able to limit what the offense could do with Tim Tebow at the helm. Pick: Steelers

Bleacher Report

Detroit Lions vs. New Orleans Saints

This will definitely be a track meet as both teams can throw the ball around the field. The Lions will look to their defensive line to slow down the Saints attack and hopefully keep it close enough so they can take full advantage of their superhero in pads and a helmet, Calvin Johnson. Pick: Saints

Atlanta Falcons vs. New York Giants

The Giants in the past two weeks have looked like the team that went 6-2 to start the season. The passing game has kept it up and the running game seems to be improving. The pass rush has picked it up causing headaches for quarterbacks Mark Sanchez and Tony Romo. Falcons quarterback Matt Ryan is feeling the heat after some very good regular seasons but no playoff victories to show for it. Insiders are comparing him to a young Eli Manning before he won Super Bowl XLII. If the Falcons can get their passing game going it could be a long day for the Giants secondary which has seen it's share of tough stretches. Pick: Giants
