Jeff Pearlman writes an amazing biography of NFL great Walter "Sweetness" Payton titled "Sweetness The Enigmatic Life of Walter Payton." Many football fans only get to see the guy out on the football field who dons the jersey, plays for their favorite team and has young kids growing up trying to emulate them. Not many get to see the person when the lights are turned off and there is no one to cheer them on. It gives us a glimpse into the life of Payton and the struggles he encountered on a day to day basis.
