Kobe Bryant Could Miss Time With Recent Injury

Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant won't play in the teams's final preseason game because of an injury he suffered against the Los Angeles Clippers in his last game.

An MRI revelas he has a torn ligament in his right wrist but the team says he will be day to day.

The 33-year-old All-Star and NBA champion has had a tumultuous couple of weeks after the team traded away forward Lamar Odom and his wife has just filed for divorce citing infidelity.

Dr. Michael Kaplan told ESPN that an injury like this usually takes 3-4 weeks to heal.

The Lakers will play the Chicago Bulls on Christmas Day for the first of five NBA games this season.

From The Sports Mind Of RB:
It just keeps getting worse and worse for the Lakers. I think so much has been swirling around the team in the past two weeks that people might have forgetten that Phil Jackson is not the coach anymore but Mike Brown.
