The World Series Is Set

The Texas Rangers disposed of the Detriot Tigers 4 games to 2 to take the ALCS crown. The Rangers ended the series on a bang with a 15-5 clubbing in the clinching game. This is the second year in a row the Rangers will play in the World Series after getting beat 4 games to 1 last year by the San Francisco Giants. The MVP for the series was their very own outfielder Nelson Cruz who had six homers and 13 rbi's which were both records for a single series. He was one extra base short of the record 10. He also has 14 homeruns in back-to-back postseasons.

In another series were all the managers have made so many calls to the bullpen I'm afriad to see their phone bill and the hitters seemed to be at a buffet all the time. That was not a Prince Fielder joke, I promise. The St. Louis Cardinals eliminated their NL Central foe the Milwaukee Brewers in six games 4-2. MVP of the series was the man pictured above David Freese who hit .545 with three homeruns and nine rbi's. He was even able to better teammate Albert Pujols who seem to hit everything in this series. Now this sets up an improbable World Series that no one could have dreamed of to start the season or even start the playoffs. If you did have both these teams in the fall classic you're a liar and you should stop it now. Get ready because if the LCS' were any indication the over and under for runs per game will probably start at 10.
