In what many believed to be one of the most wide open Heisman races ever Baylor Bears quarterback Robert Griffin III came out on top. He beat out Stanford's Andrew Luck, Alabama's Trent Richardson, LSU's Tyrann Mathieu and Wisconsin's Montee Ball.
Griffin becomes the first player ever from the school to win the award throwing for almost 4,000 yards this season with 36 touchdown passes to only 6 interceptions.
The Bears will take on the Washington Huskies in the Alamo Bowl on Dec. 29 looking for their first ten win season since 1980.
Next up for the redshirt junior is to decide whether he will enter the NFL Draft in April or return for his senior season in the fall.
From The Sports Mind Of RB:
All I can say is congratulations and good luck.
