Play Of The Week

This week's play comes from the NHL and its the first time since this blog started that it has happened. Patrick Kane of the Chicago Blackhawks puts the moves on goalie Niklas Backstrom of the Minnesota Wild during a shootout that made him look just plain stupid. Some hockey fans out there thought this play was illegal but from what I have been told is that as long as the puck is moving forward the player possessing the puck can do whatever they want.
