Dengue fever is a viral infectious disease that is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito. This disease is more common during the rainy season, because standing water is an ideal place for mosquitoes to breed.


Symptoms of Dengue Fever
Symptoms and signs of dengue fever will usually appear about 4-7 days after being bitten by an Aedes aegypti mosquito. These symptoms or signs include:

1. High fever
2. Rash on the skin
3. Headache
4. Muscle pain
5. Nausea and Vomiting
