Winner:
Craig Kimbrel of the Atlanta Braves- The rookie closer is having on of the greatest season ever not only for a rookie but a reliever at that. Since taking over the closer role for the retired Billy Wagner Kimbrel has saved 45 games in 75 innings pitched and 124 strikeouts this season. Kimbrel has said his time spent in the bullpen towards the end of last season with Wagner helped him get ready for this season and prepared him not only physically but mentally as well.

Freddie Freeman of the Atlanta Braves- Freeman has been an integral part of the Braves accension to the top of the NL Wild Card race. The big first baseman has hit .290 this season with 31 doubles, 19 homeruns and 73 rbis. If it were not for his teammate Craig Kimbrel, Freeman would be a definite lock for Rookie of the Year.
