Thankfully, its Over

The Mets and their fans can finally look forward to their offseason plans. Well for most of us we have been planning months ago probably around June or so. Jose Reyes, who is battling Milwaukees's Ryan Braun for the NL batting title left the Mets game against the Cincinnati Reds in the first inning after after laying down a bunt base hit. I guess he never heard of Ted Williams. The whole team has to be revamped and I dont know where GM Sandy Alderson can start. Ownership is probably not going to chip in with money considering their legal woes and that means bye bye to Reyes. It is probably for the best because he will never play a whole season and the type of money he will command is just not worth it. On the bright side they signed reliever Tim Byrdak for next season and they won today's game 3-0. Yippie!
