Steelers Lock Up Polamalu

The Pittsburgh Steelers know how tough it is to find a game changer and have  re-signed saftey Troy Polamalu to four more years.

Polamalu was in th last year of a five-year deal he signed back in 2007. He was slated to make $6.4 million this year.

The constant Pro-Bowler has been a fan favorite in Steel town because of his high flying ways and his long, flowing hair.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

From The Sports Mind of RB:
I don't think I need to expalin the importance of Troy Polamalu to the Steelers or any team he would play for. Is he reckless with his body? Yes. Has he had major injuries over his career and at 30 is on the wrong side of that number? Yes. Just ask the New York Jets, Baltimore Ravens, and every other team in the AFC if they would not sign him right now if they could. The answer would be a definite yes.

Sidenote: Look at the hair on Polamalu and his wife. Their kid is going to rake it in, in hair commercials.
