The Tennessee Titans and running back Chris Johnson have agreed on a new deal ending Johnson's holdout.

Johnson's new four-year extension will have him in a Titans uniform until 2016. The deal is reportedly worth $53.5 million with $30 million guaranteed.

The three-time Pro Bowler was not satisifed with his curent contract which paid him a bit over $1 million for the upcomng season. Johnson rushed for 2,006 yeards in 2009 making him the sixth back in NFL history to rush for 2,000 yards.

From The Sports Mind of RB:
The Titans are counting their lucky stars this deal got done. Former head coach Jeff Fisher was fired, they cut ties with quarterback Vince Young and Kerry Collind retired but then just resurfaced with the Indianapolis Colts. There is a new guy throwing the football in town in Matt hasselback and Johnson is going to carry more of the load now than he ever did before.
