FOXSports Jay Glazer reports that the NFL has handed down a two-game suspension for defensive lineman Ndamukong Suh for his actions during a game on Thanksgiving Day.

The suspension if Suh were to serve it immeditely would mean he would miss the game this week against the New Orleans Saints on the road and the following week at home against the Minnesota Vikings.

Suh was ejected for pushing the helmet of Green Bay Packers offensive lineman Evan Dietrich-Smith into the turf and stomping on him afterwards. Suh was later ejected for his actions.

Suh called Commissioner Roger Goodell on Sunday to apologize for his actions.

The Lions could possibly impose their own fine on the former first round pick in the sum of $50,000. That is on top of the already $42,500 he has been fined for in his young career.

As part of the suspension he will have to attend anger management classes.

From The Sports Mind of RB:
Everyone knew he had to be suspended and there was no way around it. Eveyrtime I hear of someone taking anger management classes I wonder if it is anything like the movie Anger Management with Adam Sandler and Jack Nicholson?
