The Oregon Ducks made easy work of the Stanford Cardinals on Saturday 53-30. With the win the Ducks are the team to beat in the PAC-12's North Divison and would likely play in the first ever conference championship game.
The Cardinals who came in undefeated on the season saw there chances of a BCS bowl game take a serious hit. Heisman hopeful Andrew Luck had an uncharacteristic three turnovers in the loss.
Ducks tailback LaMichael James had an impressive game with 20 rushes for 146 yards and three touchdowns. The Cardinals defense had problems all game with the explosive quickness of the Ducks attack.
The wins propels them to the #4 spot in the updated BCS rankings and is their ninth win a row since losing the season opener to LSU. Remaining on the schedule are USC and Oregon St. at home.
From The Sports Mind Of RB:
Wathcing this game I could just tell Oregon was going to win. Stanford just seemed a step slower and whenever they scored Oregon always had an answer. I just wonder if this Oregon team could face LSU now what the outcome would be?
