Players Not Injured In Shooting At NYC Nightclub

A man was fatally shot at Juliet Supper Club in Manhattan early Tuesday morning and two other man are in stable condition at the moment according to ESPNNewYork.com.

New York Giants Victor Cruz, Aaron Ross, Antrelle Rolle and Chris Canty were at the club at the time. Other players such as the NBA's John Wall, Kemba Walker, Russell Westbrook and Carlos Boozier were also at the club.

This brings Giants fans back to September 2009 when current New York Jets receiver and former Giants player Plaxico Burress shot himself in the leg at the Latin Quarter. Burress served over a year and a half for that incident.

Cruz who was out celebrating his birthday tell sthe Bergen Record "that it was merely a night out to celebrate with friends, and not an organized party." Cruz also says that he and the people he was with were not in the vicinity of the shooting.

The team returns to practice Wednesday to get ready for a matchup with division foe the Philadelphia Eagles.
