The Sryacuse Orangemen played their first game since new allegations against assistant coach Bernie Fine were made earlier this week. The Orangemen dispatched of the Colgate Raiders 92-47 to improve their record to 4-0 on the season.

This is the start of Fine's 35th season on Jim Boeheim's staff and Boeheim has defended him since the allegations were made.

Former ball boys Bobby Davis,39, and his stepbrother Mike Lang, 45, told ESPN that they were molested by Fine over several years and ending in the 1990's. Davis said that it began in 1984 and continued until the age of 27. Lang said he was molested during the fifth or sixth grade.

The university said they conducted their own investigation back in 2005 and found no one that could corroborate any wrongdoing by Fine.

Boeheim told the Assoicated Press "“This kid came forward and there was no one to corroborate his story. Not one, not one."

This comes on the heels of the child moslestation allegations aimed at former Penn State coach Jerry Sandusky in which eight have come forward and their are reports there could be more victims. It has led to legendary coach Joe Paterno being forced out of his job.

Fine who is on administrative leave says the allegations are "patently false."

From The Sports Mind Of RB:
One Syracuse student who was interviewd by a news crew said "I don't think this is true but after Penn State who can really tell?" Syracuse investigated this story and could find no one to back the accusers story. Why would they decide to make up a story  for so many years and bring it back to light if no facts were found to back it up the first time? This story might get worse before it gets better.
