The Giants have re-signed safety Deon Grant.
Grant, 32 after signing with the team did not waste anytime getting into the trash talking. Speaking of the Eagles Grant said "I have never seen a dream team during the regular season."
Grant will bring much needed help to a secondary that lost cornerback Bruce Johnson for the season to an Achilles injury and rookie Prince Amukamara until September with a broken foot.
The terms of the deal have not been made public.

Will this make the Giants the favorites in the NFC? Nope. Will it make them the favorites in the NFC East? Nope. What it will do is add some veteran leadership and a guy who has played in New York and understands the intense pressure of in this town. Grant has some fire to him and I don't know any team or coach that will turn that down.
