The NFL players and owners have finally ended the lockout which has taken up most of the offseason.

Now both sides, which reportedly agreed on a new 10-year CBA will work out free agency, training camp and the upcoming preseason.

Two things which were working in the favor of the NFL was that not only is the league still very popular compared to other sports when it comes to ratings and revenue but they will have a season now unlike the NBA which most analysts say will not see a 2011-2012 eason.

From the Sports Mind of RB:

This lockout should have never happened because when a business is worth close to ten billion dollars it should not be hard to divide that evenly between all parties. When millionaires (players) and billionaires (owners) are fighting over that type of money in this economic climate the anger from the average fan can be justified.

With all that said, are you ready for some football?
